We definitely didn't get to spend as much time on the boat as we'd hoped this summer, but we did manage to have fun while we were out. Unfortunately, the first couple of times out, the boat stalled & had problems starting back up. One time we never got it started and some crazy drunk people were nice enough to tow us back to the dock. We took it to the mechanic who claimed it was fixed, then the very first time back out, it shut down on us again. This time, no one else was on the lake and we were stranded! Not fun with 2 little boys....Luckily, our neighbor friends the Smiths were nice enough to drive all the way up to Palisades just to tow us back to shore. After that, we took the boat to Idaho Falls to a new mechanic who told us it would be fixed within a week. A month later, we finally got it back - ironically, it was only a 10 minute fix! We missed out on a lot of great boating weather, but we're glad for what we did get. Here are some pictures to document the fun:

Lots of fun on the water was even funner with friends. Here's to a better (aka longer) boating season next year!

Ohhh... I miss summer already! Those pictures make me want to go out again:( Next year will be a much better season for you guys.
