Thanksgiving 2011

We were thankful to spend Thanksgiving with all of Andy's family in Cedar City this year.  With Andy's previous coaching schedule, the holidays were often spent at home without our families, so we felt fortunate to be able to be with everyone this year.

The family is getting so large that our family and Julie's stayed at a house in town rented out by the Abbey Inn.  Although we couldn't all be together all the time, it was nice for everyone to have a little more space and let the kids have naps!  You can see that Ryan enjoyed his nap on the nice big bed :)

Thanksgiving Dinner: a delectable spread!  There were so many of us we had all of the adults eat around the pool table, plus we had 2 additional "kiddie" tables.  The kids thought it was great fun to eat rainbow jello without mom and dad at the table :)

On Friday we went to the brand new Aquatics Center in Cedar City.  It's a great place for all the little kiddos to play, nice and shallow with lots to do.  They all had a great time!  Ryan had lots of fun playing in the water with dad, especially sitting in the "bubbles."  Mom and Colton watched from the sidelines...we'll have to go back when he's older!

Grandma and Grandpa decided to have a mini-Christmas at their house while we were all there.  Sue made me a beautiful Christmas Card Holder to hang on the wall, and the picture below is of Ryan with his new green ball.

We feel very fortunate this time of year for all of our many blessings.  We know we are so blessed to have two wonderful, healthy boys, great jobs, a beautiful home, extended families that love and support us, and the gospel in our lives.  Here's to another year full of thanks!
