Yellowstone 2008
My parents had UEA during October and we had a day off as well, so we went to Yellowstone. Hadn't been since I was a little kid, and we had a blast. We drove one side of the Grand Loop on the first day, stayed in Gardner, MT, and then saw the second part of the loop the second day. You can't believe the wildlife we saw. Fall is definitely the time to go. We saw elk, deer, wolves, bison, and yes a grizzly and her cub right in front of us on the road. As you can see my father is quite knowledgeable about geysers as he is sticking his finger in it to see how hot it is. It was a little cold up there and I thought it it was cool because it made the steam coming off the water that much more impressive.

Hey guys. We are setting our blog to private--could you email me your email address cassicraven@yahoo.com--thanks!
Beautiful photos--sounds like a really fun trip. Kason would have loved seeing all that wildlife.
Happy to see that you guys have a blog now. I was wondering what the latest was on Star Valley. Andy, it's too bad that we didn't get a fantasy bball league set up. You could have had Matt Harpring and the rest of the Jazz players...
Anyway, hope all is well with you both. It'll be nice to keep in touch more.
Wow- I must go back to Yellowstone. Great pics, it's fun to see your blog.
